Eligible for SNAP and DUFB

We know that the cost of CSA programs can be prohibitive, but we want to make our CSA accessible to as many members of our community as possible.

That is why we are proud to be offering payment with SNAP/EBT again in 2024.

Thanks to grant funding, we are also able to offer Double Up Food Bucks. This program matches your SNAP payment, meaning you only pay half the price of your CSA share when paying with your Oregon Trail Card. Read more here.

Need a payment plan?

If you do not receive SNAP/EBT, we still want to help make our CSA subscription feasible for you.

If the up-front pricing of the CSA subscription is keeping you from being able to sign up, please reach out to us. Together we can make a payment plan, splitting the cost into multiple smaller payments.

What is Community Supported Agriculture?

CSA stands for Community-Supported Agriculture

It is a model where the customer pays for a share of the farm product at the beginning of the season, when our farming expenses are high, and the income is low.
In return, we deliver fresh, local produce on a weekly basis.

Win-Win for farmers and members

Because the CSA members are important supporters of our farm, we prioritize bringing new or limited quantity produce to our CSA members first.
We truly believe that the CSA model is a win-win for farmers and customers alike.
As farmers, the assurance that we have customers for the entire season means a lot for our financial security and planning. As customers, you learn where your food came from and who grew it - and you know it will always be fresh, in season, and responsibly grown.

The farmers' favorite recipes and stories from our fields

During the CSA season, we share information and stories from the fields with our members
Each week we email you a list of the box content before pick-up day, so you know what to expect.
We include recipe ideas to help you feel confident with your produce
and inspire you to try new dishes and cooking methods. We are always more than happy to talk cooking methods, storage tips, and all things food and growing with you at our weekly pick-up site.

Just the Beginning

As you may know, 2024 is our third growing season, and we are excited to have you along for the journey of growing this farm from the ground up.

When you join the CSA at Friends and Family Farm in 2024, you also support more variety and biodiversity in the future

We are hard at work planting native fruit trees, berry shrubs, and perennial crops. In future seasons, you can expect new delicious additions to our CSA boxes such as figs, asparagus, artichokes, currants, and much more.

The sign-up for future CSA seasons is always open to past members first

When you support us as we start growing, you are first in line for future bounty and variety.

CSA feels like too much of a commitment?

We also offer pre-purchased credit. Another great way to support your farmer, and get more foo for your money, with a lot of flexibility.
