SNAP/DUFB ELIGIBLE

Our 2024 CSA subscription features a weekly box with a wide variety of fresh vegetables, berries, fruits, and herbs.
Pick up every Wednesday in Eugene to get your fresh produce directly from our farm in Veneta, Oregon

START DATE: May 1st, 2024
END DATE: October 9th, 2024
DURATION: 24 weeks
PRICE: $600 ($25 pr. week)

- SOUTH EUGENE. East 21st Ave & Kincaid St. 5-6 PM
- WHITEAKER. West 2nd Ave & Washington St. 6.30-7 PM

ABOUT THE BOXES
Each box holds 6-8 varieties of vegetables, berries, fruits, and herbs.
Quantities are aimed at two adults.
Past CSA household sizes include single adults, two adults, and two adults with one/two kids. They have all reported satisfaction with the box quantity. It all depends on your household's eating and cooking habits.
You are always welcome to order multiple boxes for large households or veggie-forward families.

EXAMPLES OF CSA ITEMS*:
Greens: Asian Greens, Lettuce Mix, Head Lettuce, Kale, Cabbage, Broccoli, etc.
Root Crops: Radishes, Beets, Carrots, Turnips, Potatoes, etc.
Summer Favorites: Tomatoes, Cucumber, Corn, Squash, Peppers, Snap Beans, etc.
Fruits & Berries: Strawberries, Melons, Grapes, Plums, Apples, etc.
Herbs: Parsley, Dill, Basil, Tea-herbs, Chives, etc.

WHAT IF I GO ON VACATION?
We love traveling, and we don't want your CSA subscription to stand in the way of your adventures.
That's why we offer unlimited vacation credit. When you need to skip a CSA week, we give you $20 vacation credit.
You can spend vacation credit in our Online Farm Store or Farmers' Market booths anytime during the 2024 season.

THE CSA IS SNAP/DUFB ELIGIBLE
You can use your Oregon Trail Card to pay for our CSA with your SNAP benefits.
The price when paying with Oregon Trail Card is only $300.
Thanks to grant funding we offer a Double Up Food Bucks match incentive, which covers half of the price of your CSA.

*Please note that this is a preliminary list, and we cannot guarantee that every item on this list will be included in your box. We may also include vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs, and value-added products that are not listed here.
- For vacation skips, please notify us one week in advance. Read full conditions here: friendsfamilyfarm.com/blog_entry/vacation-credit
- Always contact us ASAP if you are unable to pick up your CSA box by the given timeslot. Text or call is preferred for day-of changes. We will try to work with you to find a solution, but ultimately the pick-up is your responsibility, and we cannot be held responsible for any unclaimed boxes at pick-up. We aim to donate any unclaimed box to our local food bank, but this may not always be possible.
- Farming is unpredictable. Extreme weather, catastrophic events, and other unforeseen circumstances may affect our ability to deliver the CSA box or some of its contents. We always strive to make up for any such circumstance, either by increasing quantities in other boxes during the season or by replacing some or all of a week's fresh produce with value-added products (e.g. preserves, pickles, eggs). When you purchase our CSA, you acknowledge that you are purchasing a share of our farm's production, and as such may experience diminished deliveries in the RARE case of production failures due to extraneous circumstances.
