Make Sure You Receive Our Newsletter in Gmail

We send out newsletters, to share stories from the farm and let you know what we are up to, and what we are harvesting. 

If you are interested in signing up for our newsletter, you can sign up here. 

After you sign up, you might wanna make sure that you actually receive our newsletter. Some email inboxes categorize newsletters as spam or promotions, and you may not see them in your primary inbox when we send them out. 

For all email providers, if you add us to your contacts, this helps your email provider know that you actually want to receive our newsletters in your primary inbox. We send our newsletters from farmer@friendsfamilyfarm.com, so you can add that to your contacts. 

Here are specific steps to take if you use Gmail

1) Add us to your contacts

If you have received a welcome email (or some other email) from us, use that, to add us to your contacts. If you hover over the sender address of the email, a little box will pop up. Click on the contact icon to add us to your contacts (see red circle on screenshot below).

You can also add contacts to Gmail directly from this link, just make sure you are logged in to your Gmail account. The email address to add to our contact would be farmer@friendsfamilyfarm.com

2) Move the newsletter to your Primary tab

When you receive your first newsletter from us, it may arrive in your Promotions tab. Move it from the Promotions tab to the Primary tab, by dragging and dropping.

Gmail might show a little pop-up box in the lower left part of your window after you drop the newsletter in the Primary tab, see screenshot below. Choose "yes" to make sure future newsletters will be shown in your Primary tab.

If you don’t do anything, you will still receive our newsletters, they will just occur under the Promotions tab.
